I know almost every school requires 2 MMR shots, but does anyone's school specify when you must have been vaccinated? I know for tetorifice you must be vaccinated every 10 years, but my school doesn't give a whole lot of info on their requirement and I was just curious if for other students the 2 MMRs you got at like, 1 year old and 10 years old are sufficient? Just curious. TIA!

My school requires that you get titers drawn to check your immunity. Mine were still good from when I had them as a child (30+ yrs ago). Doesn't your school have a list of requirements that you can look at?
They do have the list of requirements, but it doesn't specify a time frame. Thanks for your help!

I would suggest having a titre drawn, regardless of your school's requirements. Having a certain number of vaccines does not guarantee immunity, and the potential effects of MMR, should you contract it, or unknowingly expose a patient are serious.
If your titre is positive, no additional vaccines will be required.

We had to have a titre drawn, all mine were good except the mumps so I had to get a mumps shot. I think thats the safest way to go, because if they didn't do that I wouldn't have known that my mumps didn't take soooo many years ago.
