MJC Nursing Sudents!

Nursing Students General Students

Published

Hey everyone, I am a 1st Semester student getting ready for 2nd. I took all my pr-reques. at Delta College and now I just recently found out that I need about 4 non nursing classes to complete before 4th semester in order to graduate. I hear that 2nd semester is a breeze compared to 1st semester? Which is why I'm planning to take my Humanities requirement during 2nd semester since my summer seems to already be filled with the other 3 classes I need. Could any of you recommend or suggest a really easy Humanities class that doesn't require a lot (especially if you could relate the amt. of work specifically related to 2nd semester)?

Thanks

Hi paragative,

At MJC, the instructor I had for Humanities was easy. If you take her class on campus and not online, she is super easy. Well at least she was when I took her class about 2 years ago. We had no homework and during class she talked about her travels and nothing about Humanities. It was an easy A as long as you attend:D:D. If you don't mind me asking, how many times did it take you to get accepted to their nursing program?? And is it way harder than the science pre req's?

Hey, thanks for the reply Mammato3. I've been really blessed for this opportunity, I got in on my first try. I applied to about 10 different schools and got into the school that is closest to where I live (Manteca). I really give it all to GOD. I wouldn't say it's harder than your pre-reqs. but they do take a lot of bits and pieces from all that you've learned from those pre-reqs. I will say that it's a lot. It's more of the load than the difficulty. They say that it's just the 1st semester that's hectic like this, I hope that's true. Well thanks again and good luck to you. Just keep praying and you'll get in.

paragative,

Thanks for the info, I wish I was lucky like you:D. I applied for spring 2010 for the 4th time and I hope this is my last time:o. I can't apply anywhere else because I am unable to commute. Not to scare you or anything but I heard 3rd semester is pretty difficult as well. Good luck next semester and I will let ya know if I get in:specs:.
