This is my third time applying for the nursing program at my school. Each semester the point cut off is different depending on who applied and how many points they have. I FINALLY had well over the amount of points that I needed this semester. I received my letter Friday..... I was denied. They said that I needed to update my application for the school. Which I did the same day I turned in my application ???♀️. I had a whole conversation with the woman at the front desk ...because I have already graduated with a degree in science. So she was like why are you applying again.. and I explained that I was applying for the nursing program and needed to make sure I was an active student for fall. Wellllllllll apparently that doesn’t matter because they claim to have not had my application at all. I literally watched the lady update the computer and I verbally confirmed with her that I was all set. I don’t know what to do. I feel like if I go down there and say “hey this is a mistake” they are going to tell me it doesn’t matter because all of the seats are filled. I mean it’s not the end of the world if I don’t get in... it just sucks. Do they keep applications on file? Is it possible for me to go down there and get a copy of my application and show them that it was a clerical error on their part?
