  1. This is my third time applying for the nursing program at my school. Each semester the point cut off is different depending on who applied and how many points they have. I FINALLY had well over the amount of points that I needed this semester. I received my letter Friday..... I was denied. They said that I needed to update my application for the school. Which I did the same day I turned in my application ???‍♀️. I had a whole conversation with the woman at the front desk ...because I have already graduated with a degree in science. So she was like why are you applying again.. and I explained that I was applying for the nursing program and needed to make sure I was an active student for fall. Wellllllllll apparently that doesn’t matter because they claim to have not had my application at all. I literally watched the lady update the computer and I verbally confirmed with her that I was all set. I don’t know what to do. I feel like if I go down there and say “hey this is a mistake” they are going to tell me it doesn’t matter because all of the seats are filled. I mean it’s not the end of the world if I don’t get in... it just sucks. Do they keep applications on file? Is it possible for me to go down there and get a copy of my application and show them that it was a clerical error on their part?
  2. Has anyone from out of state been accepted to Mississippi gulf coast? I’m just curious if it’s even possible since they take in state applicants first.
  3. @RB_twin2 do you know when we are supposed to find out if we got in?
  4. I applied for fall 2019. i'm honestly really nervous about not getting in. I'm from Alabama... so I'm also going to be picked last. My little cousin was going to school there and shes also from Alabama and they told her that she shouldn't even apply. The lady I spoke to about my application seemed impressed with my test scores but she didn't seem confident that I would get in either. I think thats the most discouraging part. I made a 76 teas, 22 act, and a 3.0 gpa.
