I traveled for years, then traveled to Alaska got married and stayed seven years and loved it, but now Im in florida my son is grown and I miss traveling after looking at some of the travel sites it seems most hospitals are wanting

speacilities, Im a Med surg ADN, but being a senior nurse I want to take my time and enjoy it this time.

Are people staying put, and I would really like to travel overseas. Not sure they want an two yr. RN though,

I have a great record and won Nurse of the year this last yr.. Are most nurses staying put?

Excuse me, are you saying that because you are an RN with an ADN, you don't feel you are an RN????????? I believe we took the same test as any other RN and the pass rates when I tested were higher for an ADN than a BSN. I appreciate those who took the time to go the extra mile for a BSN. A RN is a RN. I haven't seen the pay differentials for a BSN, nor a follow through on the REAL Nurse vs the ALMOST REAL Nurse (ADN). It's still an RN, LPN and CNA where ever I work.
