Hi guys! Just creating this thread for all of my fellow applicants for Mira Costa and Palomar College's 2018 Fall RN program(s). I figured we could talk TEAS and points and see where we stand among each other as well as past cohorts.
Goodluck to everyone!!!! :)
I believe so! I was told last week of March so I'm hoping we get the letters next week or the week after
I was told the same thing and it looks like last year people ended up receiving their letters around April 6. I got an acceptance letter to Cal State San Bernardino a couple of days ago but that school is my last choice. I really want to go to MCC or Palomar.
Only Mira Costa & Palomar!
Was wondering if this was a good sign...? When I applied last semester, I forgot to submit a Palomar transcript at MCC & they never mentioned it. Just sent me a denial email... But this semester, I received a call from Mallory a few days ago & asked to submit ASAP so they could "process" my application. I'm thinking that's good right? Why would they bother if I wasn't being at least sort of considered.. Thoughts?

I'm on the same page as you; I would think that if you weren't a competitive applicant that she wouldn't even bother contacting you? Ahh, I think that's a good sign! From what I've seen, it seems like most people in this application cycle have 75-85 points. I don't think I've seen anyone with 90+ points so hopefully we are ALL good!! *fingers crossed*
Does anyone know when palomar will be sending decisions out?
I think I had about 90 points depending on how many points they give me for language and life experience. I have a bachelors, relevant volunteer experience, 3.6 science, 4.0 fixed, language, a couple life experience points, and 88% on the TEAS.

MCC should be sending out acceptance/denial letters within the next week or so, right? I'm getting really impatient! haha
