Okay! Thank you for your response! I live in Georgia, so my requirements are probably different than CA's. However, from what I have seen CA seems to be more strict on RN's. I have to ask, what kind of opportunities are there in CA for RN's? I have thought about working their, but I know that getting a job can be tough sometime. I know this is off topic, but I am curious about that too.
There is every opportunity in CA, but cost of living is very expensive. I suggest you start with looking into a CNA certification, and getting your feet wet in nursing. You never know what area of nursing you'll end up loving.
My CNA job that I had in college was my favorite job I ever had. Here is a link to GA's nurse assistant programs. Maybe nurses from GA can chime in.

Hello Guys! Michael Here! I am starting nursing school in Fall of 2020 (If I get in!) and am wanting to get a hospital job before starting in August of 2020. I am a dual-enrolling pre-nurisng major and will have all of my high school graduation and pre-reqs for nurisng school done by December of 2019, and plan on graduating early if I can. I will only be 17 then, but I would like to work at a hospital as a tech before leaving for nursing school. Will hospitals hire techs that are 17 as long as they have a high school diploma, or do they have to be 18? I hope this question doesn't seem stupid, but I am just curious. Thanks!
