Millikin/Decatur CRNA Program

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey guys,

Any graduates or applicants to this program? There is virtually no information about this program on the boards...

I interviewed in October and got my acceptance letter in November. As far as making your application strong, i would definetly have strong letters of recommendation. You also have to write an essay regarding why you want to participate in that program. That will be a good place to address why you want to be a nurse, and any long-term goals you have. Also address why you want Millikin over other colleges.

I was wondering whether anyone know where i can take an online graduate statistics? Thanks!

the admission office told me i must take the course at a 4 year university. but ask if you can take one at like online schools?

hello again. do you guys suggest I minor in biology this summer or do CNA??

I was accepted into the program starting this June, I interviewed on feb 10 and got my acceptance letter the following week. I am taking graduate statistics there currently with several of the other students that were accepted into the NAP program.

Specializes in ICU.

Did you start yet? How's it going so far? Where are the clinical sites? Where is the school campus, in decauter? I can't find much.

Thanks

I will be starting the MENP program this July. I am very excited about it!

congrats and good luck!

do you know what is a good way to strengthen my application?

Like cdwcobra95 said, have a strong recommendation letter but they do actually take everything in consideration including your GPA, essay, whether you have most or all of the pre requisite taking and how well you do on the interview. And also try and apply as early as you can!

okay great

do you when the earliest i could apply?

I am applying for Fall 2012

If i apply in early august the only class I havent taken is the graduate stats.

are they looking at your major gpa, prereq gpa, or overall?

I believe they look at your overall GPA. Doing well on the pre requisite classes can also help. You have to have at least a 3.25 or you would have to take the GRE. I am not sure exactly when they start accepting applications but you would have to call them to be very sure.

Specializes in cardiac/PACU/SICU/Trauma ICU.

Is there anyone who just applied. I guess it will be for the June 2012 class? I submitted my application and am waiting to see if I recieve an interview!
