Midwifery in the VA

Anyone a CNM for the VA? One of my aunts I'm close with was a L&D RN in the Navy and has since retired and now does outpatient for the VA. She talks about how great the VA is all the time. Now that I'm in school for Midwifery, I'm wondering if anyone has perspective on being a CNM in there?

Like labor and delivery at a VA? I'd be shocked at that and even if there were, the hospitals that provided that service would be few and far between. VA insurance would cover maternity and l and d but doubtful at an actual VA facility. Prolly some places that do outpatient services and care, but I'd think going to where delivery would happen and not a third party would be optimal.
