Does anyone know anything about this program? I am seriously considering midwifery after I finish my accelerated program and complete the required years of experience...

Can you be more specific about the programs name or attach a link to the web site?

I ask because I have looked at the ACNM list of accredited schools a million times a didn't see it. I double checked again and it isn't there-or the Universityof Texas. The only Texas school is a pre accredited Baylor program. Are they affiliated with Baylor?

I'm interested in anyone's responses or experiences also.

yep, that's why i am asking, lol. when I went to the midwifery website i didn't see it listed....not even really sure how i stumbled across the parkland website.

I would suspect this program no longer exists. For one, it is not on the ACNM site. Primarily, though, the website (which has a copyright of 2003) states it is a basic certificate program. All graduates in 2010 and after must be MS or MSN graduates in order to sit for the CNM/CM board exam. Certificate programs are being phased out.

Parkland school is gone. The only (potential!) option in the DFW area is the proposed DNP program through Baylor. That right there is why I am looking towards an online school!
