They are on the process of interviews, they already had 2 interviews dates and i believe they have 3 more interviews date then they will have final decisions @ mid november.

Thank you limartinez88! Do you mind if I send you a pm? (I couldn't send pm here though- but one member was able to send me a pm, maybe because I'm still new. Anyway, if you are okay, I can email you too) For everyone that was curious, would you mind sharing how your interview experience was?

Did they let you know the same day whether you were accepted?

4 of my friends were also placed waitlisted. Idk, all i know is that when they gave a presentation they said this year they got 40% more aplications n they were been more selective and supposedly that applications are not gonna b in rolling bases they will have a dateline.

I believe someone also mentioned that they were going to pull the wait list out once they are done with the interviews and have not filled the quota by mid November. Hope this helps!

Hey not a problem! If there is anything I can answer for you let me know. I do like to teach ? I have been following the thread closely and watching the trend from past to present trying to gather as much information as I could myself, I certainly do know the feeling of "not knowing" and being kept in the dark. I've been in the shoes of both a student and an instructor so I KNOW how it feels ? I am still waiting for limartinez88 too and if I hear from others too, Id be glad to share that information here.

I have been following the thread closely too. The wait and the not knowing is so nerve wrecking and especially coz you put so much into the whole process. But I will keep checking in for updates. Thanks again.

HUGE Congratulations on everyone that got invited to MWU 2020 interview! For those that were done with the interview, how was the "new" 2019 interview process? I was looking at the old groups from 2018 interviews and it did seem like there are now 6 panels as opposed to the old 2-3. I apologize in advance but I do have some questions that I really am dying to ask...

1. How did your day start?

2. What was atmosphere like? (Very stressful vs laid back?)

3. How many were at the interview panel and how many were interviewed (some posts say the interviewees were divided into two groups, was this the case for 2019)?

4. What personal questions did they ask?

5. What clinical questions were thrown at you?

6. Pharmacology questions?

7. Any math problems?

8. Was there an essay or exam at the end similar to other programs?

9. I know that other programs divide you into a group and then ask you to solve a clinical problem together, was this something that Midwestern does as well?

10. How did the day end? (On 2018 posts, one student mentioned that they had gotten a call the same day of the interview notifying them whether they got in the program or not)

Thank you in advance!

Hi! Can anyone answer these questions now that they had the interview? I know there are more coming up next week. Just hoping to learn more about the vibe of the interview. Thanks
