Nursing Students School Programs

I did not see a thread for MWSU spring 2014 BSN program so here it goes. If anyone has information please reply!

@maurynawyno this is just so confusing right? my friend was also on the waiting list but she didn't recieve any fast pass. what she said in my email was that i should have my fingerprints cleared to be able to start in spring 2014. i thought i was in but apparently not. there is an attachment to your email. follow it to schedule an appointment for your fingerprints. at a certain point they ask you your zip code and they will look for an agency close to you and the available days and time

@mavirita only things she says is that you should have them done ASAP. i am soo freaked out right now

@vandounla ,, I get it actually my email says I'm not to resubmit a fingerprint my bad!! I'm thinking if some fingerprints come back negative or if u have some kind of felony u won't be able to start and that opens a slot for whoever is next in the waiting list to be called in its a matter of sit and wait I guess :)

@maurynawyno did you get in?

so i have a chance of getting in but it depends on my fingerprints? or they are just making me do it in case the person before me is removed from the list? thanks.

no I'm not in but I recieved an email on Monday saying I'm not needed to resubmit a fingerprint..im guessing bcoz i did one in LVN school...i remmember in the lvn program 2 girls got kicked out becoz thy had felonies within the second week of the program..all thy have to do is go online at the TBON web and put my licence number to view if i have any records. so i dont need to do a fingerprint..she also stated only qualified applicants with clean fingerprint will start the prog.. just keep hoping :)

Woow ok. It's just too much pressure especially since I had given up hope after they put me in the waiting list. I guess it's all about waiting now. I should concentrate on my finals instead of worrying about this.my friend didn't even get a fast pass so fingers crossed. Hope we get in and can meet over there. That will be awsome

Hello, was anyone contacted by the college of nursing since ? Thanks:ninja:

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm applying for fall 2014, I know the admission process is based off of a point system but does HESI scores weigh a lot in the admission decision besides the minimum 80% needed? Also does each section of the English composite have to be 80 or just an average of 80 from reading, grammar, and vocabulary?

Hello future MWSU students! I am about to start my final semester of the BSN nursing program at MWSU. (I graduate in May 2014! Yay!) Anyways, I am here and listening.. If anyone has any questions, you can message me or ask here! Best of luck with your acceptance and future career in nursing!

Congratulations!!! :)

I am applying to another BSN program and two ADN programs. I have alread taken my HESI

82.8 OVERALL

Math=90

Anatomy=80

81.3= English Composite

-Reading=86

-Vocab=78

-Grammar=80

Does the school only require 80% on math and eglish composite or does the HESI score weigh heavily for admission selection besides the point system?
