Middle Georgia State University (MGA) - Spring 2026

Published

Hello,

I am trying to connect with individuals who applied to MGA for Spring 2026! Anyone apply ? I see the deadline is October 15th and I'm so anxious to find out if I'm accepted or not.

@Sammie Kakes congrats on being accepted there! Yes, I noticed that too so don't worry. It sounds like they don't have enough applicants   yet which is why they extended it longer so I think you have a good chance! And thank you @Melissa G!

@raegan newton Just emailed the director of nursing and she said that they will sign us up for our classes and send us an email. 🙂

Congrats everyone, do we need to actually register or is that taken care for us?

OK great!!

Never mind, I see the previous post thanks!!

I see that they will register for us. What campus are you guys going to ? Mine is Dublin

@Tatianasharrell dublin also. Congrats on getting in! I think we all have to dublin, because I asked, since I didn't want to have to drive an hour away, and she said it's dublin for the first semester

Thanks girl! I was a little nervous because they took so long but I received my acceptance today! I ended up getting accepted into central ga tech lpn as well but I'll rather accept ASN! And yea it will be a 2 hour drive for me!! But I will make it work!! I'm definitely ready for this Journey!! @raegan newton

@Tatianasharrell OMG yes, the wait Is the worse part. I applied to cgtc for asn nursing earlier this year and didn't get accepted. Their program is much harder to get in. RN was a good choice instead of lpn cus they get paid more and get to do more. Fortunately it looks like it will only be a couple days of the week so we won't have to drive far every day. I used the SWORDS login to look up the classes and the schedules for them.

Yes I applied for central ga last semester and was denied LOL so to get accepted this semester I was shocked!! OK 2 days is definitely doable!! And I will check swords out now!! Thanks for the info! @raegan newton

I took a tour of the nursing building yesterday because I was in the area, mind you I live 15 mins south of ATL, so my commute is over 2 hours 😭 BUT building is so nice. I took a few photos of the schedules, but looks like Monday and Wednesdays are the current days for the current cohort. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Wow I'm south atl as well and it's about 2 for me as well! I'm excited to meet everyone as well! I wonder if we will be on the same schedule as the current cohort. @Melissa G

@Melissa G thank you so much for sharing this! I hope we all end up in the same class, and I think it's likely we will. I hate that you guys have to drive that far but the experience will be so worth it.
