MidAmerica Nazarene ABSN Spring 2018 Cohort

Hi there! I have received my acceptance letter for the Spring 18 ABSN Cohort at MNU and was wondering if anyone else has already received their letter and accepted. I was hoping to get to know classmates beforehand so hopefully we can maybe figure out personal schedules for study groups, etc. :)

Oh gosh I just applied I have a 3.0 gpa for the perequisites and a 3.5 overall GPA and I took the ATI today and got a 75.3. I just applied today I hope is not yo late and I hope my gpa is not too low to get in. I am scared I might not be accepted.

Don't be too discouraged. I feel like you should be pretty okay if your overall GPA is 3.5. The only thing I would be concerned about is that possibly the cohort has already filled, but I'm not sure on that. I applied for the fall semester and was accepted l, but unfortunately was waitlisted because the cohort filled and was deferred to spring. I would think this would be the worst case scenario for you, but I'll be rooting for you and hope to have you in our cohort!

Hi cbarry, have you found out if you got in or not? I applied around the same time as you, but my GPA is lower and haven't heard anything yet. I have 3.11 overall GPA and 3.28 prereq, and 82% on TEAS.

I would reach out to Cori Freeman. She is AMAZING and always willing to find answers. I know it's frustrating playing the waiting game, so hopefully she can give you an answer or a timeline.

I just recently spoke to Ms. Freeman and she had stated that the acceptance committee will be meeting again once the deadline for the application passes to asses the final applicants. Once this happens, the committee will call you or email you asap depending on whether you were accepted or declined. I've heard you get a call, an email and a letter if you're accepted and just an email if your application was declined. I'm waiting on the decision as well! Hope this helps!

Yes I got in the program I received the call on February 16 so kind of late but better than never
