Microbiology w/Lab UCSD Extension

Does anyone have any experience with this course? Wanted to see if anyone has taken it, and if they had any problems with schools taking this as a prerequisite.

Hi there,

Did anyone ever get back with you about this? I am really nervous about this course since it's a 6 units course with Lab and I am registered for the Fall. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi! No one ever got back to me. I decided to just go for it, it was between this and Southern California University’s Bio course and while they had a list of schools that did accept their course, I wasn’t impressed by their lab instruction. For the UCSD class we were required to purchase a lab kit and we perform labs at home and send in pictures. SCU’s lab was all virtual. I know for sure that Grossmont CC will take this course but I’m still waiting to hear back from other schools. I know other people in class have mentioned National will take it as well. The class is going fairly well, and I’m doing this and sociology at the same time.

That's amazing! This is the last class I need to apply for the nursing program. I am a little bit nervous taking it out of state since the CA BRN is so strict. So do you find the class manageable? hard? lots of work? I'd like to take your thoughts on it...As always, I appreciate your feedback.

Hi there,

I wanted to just follow up with you! You mentioned that you are taking Micro or have taken it this Summer. I am registered for this Fall and I am a bit nervous. Can you give me some feedback on your experience? How's the LAB? I am really freaking out since online learning is new to me.
