Microbiology over the summer at Collin County Community College?

Published

Hello, I am a pre-nursing student at Texas Woman's University and I am needing to take Microbiology over the summer at Collin County Community College because I am applying a semester early because I brought in a lot of credits from highschool. I have had a lot of people at TWU tell me to not take it here because it is "death" and that they advise to take it somewhere else

Has anyone taken Microbiology (BIOL 2420 - for non science majors) at Collin over the summer? If so, how was it? Thanks in advance!

I am taking micro now, its not at that particular college. Its not easy but its not death. I was pretty much told the same thing about the a&p course by a specific prof at my college. I was advised by many students to take it someplace else because I would fail. I took it anyway and passed with an A. Try to take what others say with a grain of salt. You don't know what kind of students they are...

I was going to take it this coming summer but anyone I talked to about it at the college, students, advisors, professors. not one said it was a good idea. Several did take it last summer and regretted it.
