Microbiology and Chemistry this Summer

Published

Hey Everyone, I've scoured this site and have extracted a lot of very valuable information on Microbiology and General Chemistry. Now I'm reaching out to you all and asking if you have any notes or study guides from these two topics. I would love to receive them. Thanks in advance. -Adam

I don't know if you'll find much of that here. I would your best bet would be Google. You'll have to sift through a lot of garbage sites but you may find someone. Some colleges have downloadable content you could get for free.

While I don't have any good notes to pass along, I do have some advice, as I took both of these classes the same semester (along with A&P1 - it was hell!)

Do not let yourself get behind, especially early on. Everything you will learn in these courses builds off the first chapter. So if you don't fully understand it, be proactive and make sure you get the explanations you need. You will not be successful otherwise.

Make sure you know where and when your school offers free tutoring, but know that most of the time this tutoring comes from other students and that they might tell you "man, I don't remember how to do that" more than once. So find out when your instructor has office hours.

Make friends and get study partners. Odds are good that if you don't understand something, they might, and vice versa.

Good luck!
