Hi there everybody! I am looking for sympathy, I have to admit it. :imbar
I am taking Micro right now, it's my last class before I start my nursing classes. I am ready to pull my hair out. I have 3 little boys. Ages 6,5 and 3. I think that's self-explanatory. I am taking this class at night and it's really starting to wear on me. We have a lot going on right now with 4 papers due back to back. The work is not so much as hard as having to leave my family for 3 1/2 hrs twice a week and then having to put it back together when I get home. On top of all the studying! Today I finally got it all out, , called my sister and let it flow. Are there any other moms out there trying to make it through this? It's been an emotional strain on me to say the least. The idea of putting my baby boy into daycare is breaking my heart too. I keep telling myself, this is what I signed up for, this is what I want. I know I'll make it through this semester and I am pretty sure I'll even do well. But I keep asking myself if I want to do this for 2 more years. Then, after reading all the threads about how hard the first year of actual nursing is...
 Does anyone here ever have 2nd thoughts? I know by the end of the week I'll be over this, I am just wondering if anybody else gets this way. Thanks for the vent.

The secret to paper is that you have to spring $$ for the better stuff. The crappy thin paper plates are nothing but annoying, and all you save is like a buck. That's what 1/2 cent a plate, but you have to use 2-3 plates just so your meat-a-ball-a doesn't roll off of the table and onto the floor:Melody:
Kmart sells AMJ Heavyweights. They look like a total generic or store brand, but they fit the bill! 120 plates for a couple o'bucks. I have young boys who love to drink stuff, so I have a 5oz dixie dispenser next to the water dispenser and I go to Big Lots and buy their paper cups. They are the kind that can hold cold/hot...so they are thicker. Otherwise we would go through the cabinet of glasses everyday!
I just looked at my post and realized I must be getting old.
I need a life.

Great job!!! I'm glad to here it's going good.
About the dishes...I love paper! I try to get my family to eat on paper plates and drink out of paper cups as much as possible. This really helps cut down on the dishes! I know its so tacky to eat dinner on paper, but hey...in 2 years I can buy nice, new dishes and we can dine like royalty! Until then, paper please!
Keep it up!
