Did anyone ever take Micro with any of their nursing classes? I'm a second semester student taking Med Surg I and OB AND Micro. We were originally told that with "early acceptance" (not having taken it yet) that we would be allowed to take our micro class over the summer, then the director told us at the end of last semester that it was now a "co-requisite" of Med Surg I and MUST take them together! I am trying SO hard, but I'm failing my micro class! It's SO much work on top of the nursing classes. I refuse to let micro make me fail my nursing classes, but I have never made less than a B in a class EVER and I'm not used to this. ALSO, if we are failing at midterm we are not allowed to drop micro unless we drop nursing classes as well! OH, but's fine if we fail it...we can RETAKE it over the summer!!!! UGH!!!!!!

I took it in my first semester, with Fundamentals of Nursing. It was a lot of work, but I got through it... ugh, sorry to hear you're going through this.

You poor thing!
That has got to be rough. I'm sorry.
I really can't believe that would even be allowed. You know? Nursing classes are enough without pre-reqs alongside of them.
Good luck. You can pull through this. :]

I took Nursing lecture and clinical with A&P I, Psychology, & Clinical math....all in the same semster (17 credits in case you're interested). LOL!! And Im still alive!!!!!!
I was lucky enough to be able to take Micro in the summer with just english as my other class, so at least I was able to concentrate mostly on that.
I KNOW, its hard. If you can keep your nose in the books, you can do it. I wish you the best of luck.
