I completed my interview yesterday June 21st. It went very well. The faculty was incredible! The students I met are also very supportive, they eased my anxiety before heading into the interview. Good luck everyone ❤️

sorry July 21st 😆

That's so great! I have an interview this week as well. Did you have to write an essay after your interview? I've heard of that in the past, not sure if that's still part of it

That's great to hear! Did they ask any clinical questions or was it all emotional intelligence?

They have eliminated the essay section this year. The students told everyone it's emotional intelligence questions. I got EL and clinical questions. Good luck.

May I ask what makes you feel like your interview went so well?

The faculty and 3rd year students made you feel well. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Just be confident and humble

Just been following in the background and wanted to contribute. The interview was great, they changed it up this year I guess with some clinical questions and getting rid of the essay. The faculty and students were absolutely amazing. I'm from Michigan and have been a nurse for 8 years now knowing a lot of people in every CRNA program in Michigan so I just wanted to share what I've overall heard. All the schools are hard, you have to just accept that, Michigan State SRNA's seem to be the treated the best by faculty and have the most clinical hours from what I've found, most prepared by graduation is Wayne State with MSU as a close second. Every SRNA from Wayne that I've known hates their lives for the duration of school. University of Michigan SRNA's say it's a dumpster fire half the time and it shows with their first time pass rates being really low. I've heard good things about Detroit Mercy but the first year is didactic and they don't start pharm until second year with clinicals which boggles my mind. I haven't heard good things about Oakland and I'll just leave it at that. So, with that being said I'm striving for MSU or Wayne. I'm okay with hating my life for 3 years if it gets me to be a better provider. Hope this helps, and I'm sorry if this came across abrasive, I just want everyone to be informed to make the best decision if they interview at multiple schools.

Thank you for sharing. I appreciate you. I was told we're supposed to be hearing back in the next couple of weeks. Good luck ❤️
