Michigan State University Accelerated BSN Spring '17

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone!

I am applying for the MSU accelerated option that will start in May 2017. As anyone who has been through this process knows, it is incredibly stressful.

While I know this may change each year due to the applicant pool, I am really curious to know if anyone knows of any specific GPA's that have been accepted in the past? I am applying with a 3.6 pre-req GPA/3.7 cumulative, but I am still very worried.

Feel free to discuss anything about the accelerated program here :)

awesome! Classmates!! :)

Has anyone gotten anything in the mail yet? I got the email saying I was accepted but haven't received anything hardcopy through the post. Also, anyone know what "Verification of Outstanding Prereq Requirements" is? I haven't received anything about that either.

I haven't received the mail acceptance letter. Also has anyone received any information on financial aid?

I have not received my hard copy of the acceptance letter yet either. The outstanding prereqs are ones that you don't yet have finished but that need to be completed before the start of the program. Mine are path, micro, and stats. You have to email the advisor a copy of the transcript once completed and send an official copy to the college.

I find it kind of odd that we haven't received any other information yet! Anyone else hear anything?

I've only heard from my advisor. I haven't got anything in the mail yet
