University of Michigan-Flint RN to BSN Online

U.S.A. Michigan

Has anyone taken or is currently enrolled in their online RN to BSN program? If so, how is it? I saw on their website that Fall and Winter classes are 14 weeks each, so are there a lot of papers due each semester since the classes last so long (compared to 5-7 weeks at some other schools). Also, I don't want to have direct clinicals where I would have to have specific days off (not that I have a job yet, but when I do) to go do them. Are their clinicals direct and how are they set-up if I am not a Michigan resident?

I wanted to do Ohio University's program because tuition is lesser than U of M; their classes are 5 weeks long; they don't require a lot of extra classes like U of M and their clinicals are not direct, BUT they don't accept students from my state. :(

Any info on U of M-Flint online RN to BSN will be very much appreciated (or any info on how I can get around Ohio University's residency requirement would be even better )

Thank you for reading.

Never mind, I just discovered University of Louisiana at Lafayette's RN to BSN online program, and so far it looks way better than U of M and even better than Ohio University's program. No direct clinicals! It looks too good to be true.

Ohio University was super easy and cheaper in my book. The direct clinical wasn't really a direct clinical. It was more of a research paper with a person who had a BSN or higher that you could bounce ideas off and give you direction.
