How long does it take for Michigan to give license by endorsement? I applied over 3 weeks ago and they still have not looked at my application. Im wondering are they behind in reviewing applications, because this process is holding me up from potential jobs. I check online everyday and it states that my application has not been reviewed which is very frustrating?

Give it about 8 weeks unless you want to file a complaint with a member of the House or Senate.
I did that and had my license the next day.
I dont have 8 weeks to wait thats just ridiculous, how did you go about getting in contact with the house or senate? Who is the contact person(s) because I will do just that to get the process going. They are holding me back from working I wish I could hold back all my bills
Checked the website again today and they still haven't reviewed my application....Now I want to cry:arghh:
Sorry, but that is standard for Michigan.
Go to the State of MI website and search for your representative and email them.
WOW! I guess I have to do what I have to do....Thanks!
They finally looked at my application, and I notice that they want me to send in transcripts etc. I call to find out why I need to do that when the State of Illinois FED EX'ED the certification to them on November 9th and they told me I filled out the wrong application, I filled out the application for RN examination & not RN Endorsement. THATS A BUNCH OF_________!!!!!!!!!! I printed the application off the Michigan website it has a link that says RN/LPN Endorsement application. Im totally clueless how I could possibly done that, when on the application I stated the school I graduated from & that I had taken the NCLEX and have a license in the State of Illinois.....I feel like they are playing games....They have my license certification from the state of Illinois in their office and its been there for over a week now.....This process is RIDICULOUS.....
Thanks for the Advice SweettartRN, I faxed a letter to the Senator and emailed 2 State Representatives so I hope something comes through real soon....I will keep you posted

I am graduating in May. I also plan on applying for my Michigan license. Did you have to go there and get fingerprinted?
No miteacher you can get fingerprinted in the state you're located but you have to mail in fingerprint cards...
LARA - Health Professions website Download Application for Endorsement and it will explain how you can submit fingerprints if you live out of state

Thank you, that is good to know. How are you going about applying for jobs? Are you moving back to Michigan first? Or applying for jobs first?
