I'm looking at going through Miami University's RN to BSN program and wanted to find out what I can about the program. What kind of reputation does it have in the community? Which location is better Hamilton or Middletown? How much of a time commitment is required? And anything else I haven't thought of that might be helpful.
TIA!

I am currently doing the RN to BSN at Miami University. I went to Miami for my ADN so it was a pretty smooth transition. I take one to two classes a semester. I am from hamilton, and i work at ft. hamilton hospital. Miami comes to ft. hamilton on monday nights and i think they go to middletown regional on thurs. nights. these hospitals foot the bill. it is nice, because i am not cramming in too much at one time. most of the professors are good. clinical sites are interesting. The only problem i hear from people is getting the miami plan finished (the core coursework ex-math, english, etc) I did all of that during my ADN so i only needed 11 classes to get my BSN. Miami has a great reputation in the Cincinnat/Dayton area. I only have three classes to go after my current semester is up! woohoo!!! if you need anymore info let me know, i can give you the name and number of a good advisor :)
