Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

BLNurse are you a 100% sure that the AS PGM GPA is the science gpa? i was looking at mine and i have 3.60, but i have A's in all my sciences including Micro, it just doesn't add up.
Also i just realized that my all Cum gpa is also including my EMT credits from 2 years ago, i am so confused, anybody has any idea if only the classes required count towards or if everything counts? are the credits manually counted? i dont want to call mdc and get even more confused, any help would be appreciated thanks in advanced.

That info was given to me by current student in the program. Now I'm confuse too.

How many points does grade of A for a 3 credit class brings your gpa up ? Does anyone knows ? I have 5 classes left to finish my AA. Just curious to know !! My AA GPA.

Not much maybe like a point... It sucks because if you get like a C that's when you're gpa goes down a lot in all my sciences I have As but 2 Cs and that put my gpa to 3.1

Yure, same thing happened to mi, I have As and Bs, and 2C brought my GPA to 2.79 ((((((( One C from Micro and One C from Anatomy Lab...((

How Will I Be Selected?All students who meet basic admission requirements will be considered. Selection criteria will be based on cumulative GPA and successful completion of or enrollment in the required program pre-requisite courses listed below:

CHM 1033 and 1033L
PHI 2604 and ENC 1101
BSC 2085 and 2085L*
BSC 2086 and 2086L*

i got so upset yesterday I don't want to eat i don't want to know nothing about nursing is so sad how I believe it's all by luck.

Ay I know the feeling Yure. Same thing is happening to me and I still have to wait like 7 months. Let's play the lotto though maybe we have more luck. Lol.

I am not sad yet but I am afraid of the future. Afraid of not being accepted at MDC even though I have Barry university as a second option, afraid of not passing the nursing classes because I have heard that they are very tough and if you fail 2 classes then you are done. Then, it comes the nclex and I get extremely nervous when it comes to big tests and the last thing is if I am going to be a good nurse. sorry for this post of negativity but just wanted to vent
