I'm doing my pre-req's now and I'll be done in Spring 2007 but I want to apply for nursing school for Fall 2007 but their deadline is in February and I won't have all of my pre-req's done. What do I do?

i believed deadline for august admissions is may 1st and sept 1st for january admissions. i think you can still submit your application while taking the last pre-reqs as stated in mdc's website:

"students who are currently enrolled in all prerequisite courses of the chosen option are also eligible for selection."

Even if I still have 6 classes to go? (two are labs) But I will be done and able to start Fall semester. I figure that they won't accept me without a third of my GPA still hanging. Should I apply for Spring 2008?

It's better to have your AP I & II done before applying..Try to talk to an adviser at MDC Medical Campus, they will be able to tell you everything that you have to do, the classes to take etc..They're very

helpful.

Pinayfl is correct about the dates for application. I submitted my application in March 06 for the fall 06 term. I was still taking Chem + Chem lab + PHI2604

The deadline was May 1st. The term ended April 29th. So by the time the deadline came, I was finished with my pre reqs.:balloons:
