MHCC for 2015 / 2016

Hi. I just wanted to join in and say that I am on the alternate list, not near the beginning. I am not expecting to get in but if I do it would be very nice. I am a CNA and a mom. I would love to hear if people are moving along on the list. I feel like the CCC cohort size may effect the movement of this list.

I was thinking the same thing. What number on the list are you, if you don't mind me asking? I am number 11. Trying to stay positive ðŸ˜ƒ

I'm 28th. Not a lot of hope that it will move along that much but who knows. I think you have a good chance of getting in. Maybe they will update us at the orientation on the 24th.

Well I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us! Positive thoughts. I wish I knew if they were moving along the wait list. All of the anticipation is the hardest, for me anyway.

I am number 21 at MHCC, last year I was #23 and made it all the way to #4 but didn't make it in, I am being more hopeful this year! They always say they usually make it all the way through, and they said at the interview they made it through all but 3 last year, I gasped and was like "SO not true!" if that were the case me being #23 out of 52 last year I believe, I should of made it in.

I am curious to know where that number came from and I am a bit skeptical they might have passed me up last year, fingers crossed. See you all at orientation on the 24th! I think a few spots have been declined.......I want so badly to get in this year!

How do you know that you made it to #4 last year? Do they update us folks on the alternate list? In the email they ask us not to check our status and if they get a spot for us, they will notify. They said that they took all but 3 last year in my interview also but I really didn't believe it. I am hoping that you get in this year and fingers crossed for all of us.

Lol I know they specifically say not to ask, but I emailed about once a month last year. I know for a fact they didn't even get through half last year cause I would of got the email, but I asked and that's how I knew I was #4. Good luck to you too! I hope we all make it!

I doubt that they have begun notifying alternates yet since the deadline is June 15th to let MHCC know if you intend to accept. You would be accepted before me so let me know if you hear anything!!

I thought about that too, I just figured some may decline early. I am really excited and praying that I get in, the waiting is just so hard!! I will definitely let you know as soon as I hear anything.
