Hi all!! Just got accepted to MGH Institute of Health Professions ABSN program for Summer 2017! Just wanted to see if there was anyone else that got in, too :)

I currently live in Cambridge, but looking to move out and find room mates in the program. I can definitely help if you are also looking for a place. I have a list of just a couple of places to look at. I also visited MGH IHP and spoke to someone who said there are free shuttles running every 15 minutes from the MGH Hospital to the school.

I also think a facebook group would be a pretty good idea!

Hi guys!

Congrats on everyone's acceptance! I put in my deposit for the MGH IHP ABSN Summer 17 last week, so excited. I'm from Reading (20 mins north of Boston) so if anyone has questions on good places to live I can do my best to give some advice.

Hi everyone,

I was notified that I have been put on the waitlist back in late December (when they sent out acceptances). Does anyone here know the time frame for hearing back? It is the only program I applied to and I currently work at MGH as a temp.

I'll be in the ABSN summer 2017 cohort as well! I just asked to join the facebook page.. I live in San Diego and don't know anyone out in Boston, so I'm definitely looking for roommates / would like to know which areas people are planning on living! I'm excited to meet everyone!

Hi all! I wanted to hear from people who are planning on attending MGH this summer and also planning on using large private loans to support their cost of attendance. I'm curious what people found as their best options and how people are managing with taking on the debt and preparing for the high cost of the program. Thanks everyone!

Hi Guys,

i just got my decision today today as I applied for the January 3rd deadline and unfortunately was placed on the waitlist 😭 I was really hoping to get in, MGH was my first choice. Does anyone know how likely it would be for someone to be accepted from the waitlist? Pray for me you guys 😩
