MGH Institute of Health Professions, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) & Northeastern University 2024 ABSN

Hey all I recently applied a week ago to the MCPHS, MGH and Northeastern ABSN programs for Fall 2024. Has anyone applied or received an acceptance yet? Also, what were your stats? I am just super nervous about getting in and wanted to know if anyone else had applied also! Thanks!!

So I applied to the 'suggested' deadline for Summer 2024 ABSN at MGH that just passed on Feb 1st. I will likely apply again to the Fall 2024 term if it doesn't work out or if it does work out but I'm not awarded any scholarships (it's expensive!). Same story w/ Northeastern---I will apply to their Fall 2024 ABSN if it doesn't work out w/ their DIrect Entry MSN.

I have a 4.0 GPA in prereqs (w/ only microbio remaining) but my undergrad GPA is from a school w/o grades and so I'd say it's equivalent to a ~3.0 maybe? Then again, that was a BA in Music from 12 years ago so admissions will hopefully see I've matured academically by now. How about you?

Just an update, I got accepted to MGH for the Summer 2024 start! I got a good scholarship too but it will still be very expensive. So I'll have 1 month to really deliberate on whether or not to matriculate.

I also applied to MCPHS ABSN!! It's been almost two weeks since I applied and still haven't heard anything! I'm getting nervous LOL, have you or has anyone heard back yet?

Hi there! I'm currently in the ABSN for MCPHS and I really love it so far! I have made a lot of friends already as I am only in my first semester but it is crazy to think it is already halfway over! My clinical placement was good for this semester and the professors at MCPHS really want to see you succeed which in other nursing programs I did not get that same feeling!
