MGH Institute of Health Professions DEN program fall 2024

Hi! This is a page for those applying to the DEN program at MGH for fall 2024. The deadline is in 10 days, does anyone know how long decisions will take? It looks like in previous years they had a Nov 1 early dead line but I don't think they did that this year? How is everyone feeling?

I submitted on the 15th. Hopefully I get in! So far based on Nursing CAS the application has been verified and I received an email that admissions had received it and it's for review.

I haven't heard anything yet and neither has my friend who also applied. I heard they release decisions around end of February early march. I was hoping to hear back a lot sooner though:/

I emailed admissions, who told me they might not send decisions until April now.

Good lord...who is waiting that long?? I was hopeful for MGH but will likely be accepting elsewhere ....

I'm confused because I previously received an email stating they would send decisions 6-7 weeks after January 15th. Then, I emailed an admissions counselor directly to confirm when we'd hear back, and they said April. Has anyone else heard anything from admissions? I'm hoping we don't have to wait until then.

Yeah I'm confused. The email that I received stating my application was received also stated 6-8 weeks. When I called admission office for MGH the lady in the phone mentioned late march. But wouldn't that be for those who missed the Jan 15 deadline and submitted before the march 1 deadline?

In their seminar today they stated that anyone who applied before the Jan 15 deadline has had their app reviewed and we should hear back within the next 2 weeks!! Goodluck everyone!!

Did anyone go to the admissions information session today and find out any updates about when decisions would come out?

It seems that philly103 did and they had the following message: "In their seminar today they stated that anyone who applied before the Jan 15 deadline has had their app reviewed and we should hear back within the next 2 weeks!! Goodluck everyone!!”

 

im super nervous, hopefully I got in. I've only applied to them and if I don't get in I was think about Northeastern
