MGH Accelerated BSN - Spring 2013

Hi all,

There were one or two comments at the end of the 2012 thread that went unanswered, so I figured I would start a thread for those applying to the MGH ASBN beginning January 2013. I received the email this morning saying my application is complete, so now the waiting begins.

Anyone else applying for this cycle? We can commiserate during the wait and hopefully share the good news later. :)

I haven't heard anything yet so hopefully tomorrow

Same here ... it is driving me crazy. I got denied from Curry too Jill. Can't believe they only accepted 32 students. Makes me feel better about being denied from there.

When is the deposit due? Just thinking about when we might hear about the waitlist status....

zpriest - that was my situation as well, I applied for May 2012 but got waitlisted and then never heard back so I reapplied for the Spring 2013 session

Deposit is due October 1st.

Quick question for those of you who were waitlisted and reapplied -- I went to my application yesterday to resubmit and choose new people for recommendations, but it still says that my application has been submitted and won't let me change anything. Did you have to call the school? Or does it reset after a certain period of time?

I got in! No letter though. They called to tell me today and said I should be getting something in the mail shortly. Congratulations to everyone who was accepted and good luck to the wait listed!

Nice job, congrats!

For re-applying I believe I had to create a new user account and check off that I was a re-applying candidate not a new candidate and then fill out the application again. I ended up emailing MGH admissions to ask about it and get specific instructions and they did a pretty good job explaining it.
