Methodist hospital benefits and shift differentials.

Published

Hi, I wanted to know from any nurses out there who work for Methodist hospitals in Memphis. How much do you recieve in shift differential? I would like to work evening shifts. And as far a health care is it free or do you have to pay a certain amount?

Hello,

I just joined this forum! Are you looking to relocate to Methodist as a Full Time Employee? Methodist has pretty good benefits for it's full time employees. Shift diff for second shift is 4.50/hour. PTO is available for time off. Medical insurance is a little steep if you are covering family. I pay 144.50/payperiod which is every 2 weeks. We have retirement program that I feel is pretty fair. Methodist matches 1:1. Our nurse patient ratio is pretty good compared to other hospitals; 5/6:1 on days, maybe an extra at night and then 6/8:1 on nights. Write me if still interested and I can definitely get you some more info.
