This is a thread for those who applied to the Methodist Health System Nurse Residency 2021! Has anyone heard back from the recruiters? Good luck to us all!

Hi I am applying to start in October. On the application, does it require letters of rec? if so, how many?

No letters of recommendation are not required.

I also applied to NICU at Methodist Stone Oak-San Antonio! I attended my virtual interview on June 2. NICU Director mentioned I’d be hearing from them this week.

No, but I applied NICU July cohort! Have you heard from a nurse recruiter yet?

This is so awesome! Congratulations! How long did it take to hear back from them after interviewing? I had my interview June 2nd and they just finished interviews June 7th.

Thanks so much! I applied as soon as the applications opened, not sure when I had my phone call, but scheduled my virtual interview for the beginning of April. Then I heard back maybe a week later and scheduled my in-person peer interview for mid-April. I heard back maybe 30 minutes-1 hour after leaving the peer interview. Best of luck to you! It took me a few tries to finally get into the NICU.

Thank you for sharing! Sounds like there is another step after the virtual interview. Hope to hear back this week then. So happy for you! I’m certain this is exactly where you need to be!

The NICU Director and nurse educator were so very welcoming! Praying this may be a door that is opened.

Looks like I'm a little late to the convo! Applied for October start date, just got an email that interviews will be in person going forward. Can anyone already in a cohort share the experience thus far? Is it going well? Is the pay competitive? Best of luck all!

I got an offer for ICU at Methodist Dallas starting Oct 11. Is anyone in the same cohort? Let's connect? Those who is currently working in this ICU, how do you like the unit? I'd love to dm and ask a little about patient population?

Could you tell me anything about the pay rate? I can't find any info about it anywhere

Hi I know their Med Surg starting is 27/hour, not sure about ICU
