I've created this new thread for those applying to the Methodist Nursing Program linked with El Centro. This program is for those that are employed, have immediate family members employed, and volunteers that have reached a certain amount of hours at a Methodist hospital. They only accept twenty people each semester.
Since they have changed the El Centro Curriculum I'm not sure how the new point system is going to work. Has anybody else heard anything new about this program?
Thank you!
Hey all. I stumbled across this. I am currently in the Methodist/El Centro program. I just finished first semester. Those who got in... get ready... first semester is a ride. Not trying to scare y'all or anything but it's a lot... However, I am SO happy to have been in the Methodist program over the regular El Centro program because I feel that we get more personalized attention and our instructors at MCMC (can't speak for MDMC) are awesome! I know that this year, they aren't having the program at MCMC so it's just Dallas and so that's why only 10. See y'all at orientation at MDMC on Jan 10th (all of the 4 levels of students attend a part of it together). One piece of advice... do your readings and do NOT get behind as it becomes very difficult to catch up. Start as soon as you get your books and the list of reading assignments even if it's before the semester starts!

Sorry to bother you, but I'm planning to start in Fall and will like to know how many points did you have? Also, what was the lowest points accepted?
