Starting this thread for all nursing student hopeful for admission to Merritt College Fall 2025 ADN Program. Post when you hear anything back from admissions.  

The suspense is killing me!

The last day to hear back is the 2nd right?

Yeah, that's what the brochure says: 
Phase 5. Lottery – Qualified applicants will be entered into a lottery on May 22, 2025 to determine the admitted class. 
If you have not received a response regarding your status by June 2, 2025, please send an email to [email protected]

Has anyone sent them an email anyways? That's a loooong time between May 22 and June 2 to notify us.

I also applied to the ADN program and I'm starting to think they sent out the acceptance letters already but haven't sent out rejection letters yet IDK, it's weird that no one on here has gotten any response yet tho.
last year I applied too and they sent the rejection email 2 days after the lottery but it has been a week already this time around and still nothing.

Looks like all 1,500 of us will send Merritt an email on Monday asking for an update. (IDK if 1,500 people applied, just a guess.) I'm following this thread and another thread on reddit. I don't think anyone has reported hearing back from Merritt 😞 

I wonder what happened this year that they haven't gotten back to us by now? A couple of people in the reddit thread said they should have moved into next phase, but were told they didn't qualify even when they had the GPA requirements from local schools. I wonder how many people didn't pushback when they were wrongly told they don't qualify in the next phase to submit their TEAS.
