Mercy University Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Program - Spring 2026 Weekend

Hi is anyone planning to apply for Spring 2026 when the application opens in 2 weeks!?

I think it says 3 years OR by Spring 2027 - I think we finish in Summer 2027 but the advisor mentioned the program so I think we should be OK - im gonna try applying for it after work tonight

I just applied for the 1199 CPT program, lets see what will happen. You gotta submit documents in order to see if you qualify. It's up to 3 years you have to work in healthcare that has that program. Im gonna finish it all later tonight and let everyone know the process

@Aracely P what documents - I know I got up to my high school diploma - I gotta find that somewhere - what else do u need after that?

The high school diploma and I believe your college diploma too if you have your associates or bachelors. Did the advisor say anything about how they determine if they get the aid from 1199cpt like eligibility for it?

So she didn't specify anything but she said a lot of students in  mercy 2nd degree program sign up for this - so I have a feeling maybe they generous - Im gonna apply tonight too 

I also know theres a program called nurse corps which is similar but I don't think they open applications until next year which is kinda too late for all of us

Also - I tried to do the application but it asks for the school and your current semester - all I can find is mercy college not university and also Spring 2026 doesn't show up

One more thing for everyone - the advisor says next month we will get bombarded with emails and phone calls from our advisor to help us with payment for the semester.

Well they do sure love the money lmao, kinda expected it. Also Mercy University use to be mercy college, they recently just became a university not too long ago. Damn really it doesn't show for the 2026 Spring semester? What are the options that show up maybe we gotta do something for it to show up or maybe ask the advisor about it on why it doesnt show up like why would they offer that option if the 2026 year doesnt show up

also, I graduated from mercy when it used to be mercy college. The name university was so they can be more affordable instead of private college but it ain't more affordable I can tell you that 🤣.

@Aracely P the fact I was told 60k before even starting my prerequisites and now its gonna be at least 70.5k a year later....yah they definitely love money LOL

but it shows Spring 2025 Summer 2025 and fall 2025 - I emailed the support email address I found on the website about when we can expect the Spring 2026 option but if you figure it out before then lmk

can you imagine how much it would cost us if we needed to do room board and food - if I didn't need to work id do the wcc program but I cant afford not to work for 2 years (also its only an ASN)
