Mercy University Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Program - Spring 2026 Weekend

Hi is anyone planning to apply for Spring 2026 when the application opens in 2 weeks!?

Hey future mercy grad nurses, I originally applied for the Fall 2025 but got waitlisted, never made it off the waitlist so Mercy emailed me asking if I want my application to move forward to Spring 2026, I said yes and on the 15th of Sept I got my acceptance letter! Hope to meet anyone else who will be starting in the Spring 2026!!

Hi!! The same thing happened to me. They waitlisted me for this fall, and then eventually asked if I wanted it to be moved as well. 20 days later on September 15th I received my acceptance letter. I'm so excited!! Just wondering if you've put in your deposit and if so did you receive any info after that. I haven't received any info after so I'm just wondering.

Yeah I provided the deposit the same day LOL. I contacted (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) a few days ago to ask him when will we be contacted regarding documentation, castlebranch, orientation, etc, and he said in the next couple of weeks. I'm guessing that maybe they are waiting until after the deadline of October 15th. Maybe they are just waiting until they got the roster that way they can begin rolling out next steps to everyone at once. But yay! Congrats 🙂 I'm so excited

You got this! I read a lot of mercy forums from previous years and some if not all ppl (except from waitlist I guess) don't get contacted until after the deadline. Don't lose hope!

Hi, I also applied for the fall 2025 weekend program and got waitlisted. I was accepted on September 15 and submitted my deposit for Spring 2026. I'm excited to start this journey!

Congratulations! I got an acceptance as well but haven't heard anything as of yet. I payed the deposit submitted my immunization and requested official copies of my transcripts so far.

I also got accepted for the Spring 2026 weekend program. Can't wait to start this new journey with you all. Does anyone know a rough idea when we are going to start getting information on what are next steps are gonna be? Also what are schedules are going to look like as well?

last I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) he said in the next couple of weeks we should be receiving more info. My guess is that they are waiting for after the deadline, to be sure of who is in the program to then send out a mass email to everyone. Also, I looked at the Pre Licensure handbook 2025-2026 (found on the mercy website on the nursing page, or if you search on Google which is what I did LOL) and it tells you which classes should be taken first second semester etc.

What it says on the handbook for first semester looks like what others, in other mercy university forums from previous years, have picked out for their classes so it must be UTD.
