Hi, I was wondering if anyone works at Mercy Medical Center? I recently spoke with the nurse recruiter regarding a per diem position, and I was told that the hospital isnt currently hiring any per diem nurses, although I know the hospital I currently work at also tells people they do not hire per diems but they do if you can get ahold of a manager of a floor, so if any works at Mercy , can you tell me if your unit is currently looking for per diems and perhaps a phone number to your manager? Believe it or not, I am willing to work med surg, and I cannot believe that med surg units do not need per diems nurses. If anyone can help, please . Thanks

Which one are you talking about as there is more than one Mercy Hospital operating in Ohio.

I hear they have a great per diem program called the "now" program which pays way above the regular staff rates. Check it out.
