Mentorship

In the past few months, I have decided to make more of an effort to outline some career goals for myself...to make a long story short, I am trying to do everything I can to make lemonade from lemons at my current job.

I have signed on to become a nurse mentor at the hospital I work at. I am very excited about this endeavor and I am truely hoping to help people starting out in nursing particularly during their first year.

I am interested in any suggestions about what mentorship programs are like in your facility if you have one. I also would like to know what you are thinking in your first year and what you wish someone would have told you.

Thanks! :heartbeat

I would also like to hear what you do or don't like about your mentorship program, if that would help clarify what I am looking for.

Thanks again!
