Nurses Men

Just saw the movie "knocked up" and there is a L&D nurse in it who is a guy. Not a major character but it was all so shocking. He wasn't gay or effeminate or goofy or incompetent or any of the usual crap. He even had a name. I was all thrilled until I noticed his character was listed as "Male Nurse" in the closing credits. Two steps forward, one step back. Still, it was a rare positive image for a change.

positive image, really

I thought he was a wimp, just the way I saw it I guess

I have nothing against male nurses - I love them!!! I wish there were more of them, especially ones that are single and hot!! LOL I bet that if they would have put just his name there, no one would have realized who he was. I think it was just easier for them to put 'male nurse' in the credits. I'm sure if it was a female, they wouldn't have used her name in the movie. It probably would have said nurse #1, etc, etc. Sorry if your feelings were hurt, but don't let it bother you!!
