Men in the field of nursing.

Hello,

I am a male thinking about pursing a carrer in nursing.

I have heard different things do the same opportunities exists for men as women are they excepted in the field for the most part?

There are many male nurses at this site who are likely to say many different things. There are NUMEROUS threads about this very subject. You do a search like "men in nursing" or "male in nursing".......there have been literally thousands of posts here about this. I say go for it. If it's what you want to do, you are welcome. Right now with a shortage like this, anyone who is sincere, has integrity and common sense as well as dedication to duty would be more than welcome, male/female, gay/straight, no matter the color/race/background of that individual. Good luck!!!! And do that search, you will see so much there.
