I'm starting a job at MSKCC soon and was wondering if anyone has insight into orientation? Do we have any time in the classroom/online before actually going on the floor with a preceptor and if so, how long?

Awesome, good luck! Just wondering if you knew 1. if RNs on the floor administer chemo to their patients or if other people do that? 2. are we required to have embroidered scrubs or can we just get any royal blue scrubs?

Honestly I have no idea LOL, I do know that msk has their own scrubs so I'm sure that will be issued to us when we start. I believe the first few days of orientation is in business attire. 

I haven't received much information after I was cleared to start, except that a manager will reach out to me a few days before my first day with more info. So once I know more I'll send updates!

Wondering if anyone knows how much parking is? Do they have any employee lots or is it just nyc garages?
