  1. Wondering if anyone knows how much parking is? Do they have any employee lots or is it just nyc garages?
  2. I appreciate it thanks so much! Best of luck ?
  3. Awesome, good luck! Just wondering if you knew 1. if RNs on the floor administer chemo to their patients or if other people do that? 2. are we required to have embroidered scrubs or can we just get any royal blue scrubs?
  4. I'm starting a job at MSKCC soon and was wondering if anyone has insight into orientation? Do we have any time in the classroom/online before actually going on the floor with a preceptor and if so, how long?
  5. Anyone know the holiday requirement? I would imagine each unit is different in how they choose who works each holiday but usually there are universal requirements (I.e., every other holiday; half of all the holidays, etc.)
  6. What type of unit if you don't mind me asking? Because I think something like the Emergency room is definitely longer but I'm hoping we still get a decent orientation on a med surg unit.
  7. Yes I did. I accepted a job and am starting at the end of the month but I wasnt exactly clear on the orientation process. I thought I was told I only have 4 weeks but that seems way too short to me
  8. Does anyone know the details of orientation for a new graduate hired onto a medsurg unit at NYU? Do we get classroom time before going onto the unit or are we put straight onto the unit?
