Has anyone received an invitation to interview at memorial hospital of Rhode Island? I'm still patiently waiting to hear if I'll get the chance to interview
Thanks for the info Marco. I am keeping my fingers crossed to hear something soon. The program sounds very appealing. I have an interview at another school but would like to have more than one so that I have some options or a better chance of getting an acceptance. When you interviewed did they mention how many prospective students they plan on interviewing? When you interviewed were there other students there at the same time waiting for interviews as well? Thanks for all the info!
hi Ijlindsey,
to answer your question, they mentioned that they were interviewing about 50 applicants, I believe. And to my knowledge, I was the only applicant there at the time. It was a 2:15 pm appointment. And when i had called to schedule the appointment, i was only given an option between 1pm and 2pm. so i'm not sure if they had morning appointments as well. So for the interview, you meet with a total of 3 people and they dont really ask too many questions. It felt more like they were trying to sell the school to you than anything. It sounded good. well again, good luck, i hope you hear something soon. by the way, what state r u coming from? i'm in mass

Hi Ijlindsey,
I had an interview at Memorial Hospital of RI this past thursday. It went well. It was a very laid back interview. the director mostly went over the program and what to expect as student. then they got to know you a bit and you learned the background. Also, you get hooked up with one of the senior students and you visit the OR. I was interested. it probably could be the most inexpensive school for this program. Also regarding interviews, he mentioned that with the whole hurricaine stuff that happen in the northeast, they're quite behind schedule. They say they'll be interviewing till end of december. So i hope you get to here from them soon.
