Memorial Hermann The Woodlands ER Internships

Hi everyone,

I would love to hear from some nurses who currently work or have recently worked at Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands. I currently work at a close by hospital in Med Surg and have about 3 years of mostly medsurg and a little Surgical PCU experience. I am ready to take the step and get some more critical experience but I do not feel like my ER will give me the experience I desire. Can anyone tell me how an internship is for someone with experience but not in ER nursing? Also I am worried about the learning curve between medsurg and ER, has anyone had trouble with this or do you just learn as you go along? How well do the staff work together in the ER at this hospital? Thanks for your comments!
