A thread for anyone applying to Memorial Hermann for the February cohort in 2020! Is anyone going to pre-match day?

How is everyone preparing for the interviews and do we need to bring anything with us?

When did you hear back from Mrs. Patel? I sent in my information from the email she sent us Monday evening asking what units we wanted to interview for but never got the email for what time my interview would be.

Those of you going to Southwest, when did yall hear back from Patel? I got the email she sent out to everyone Monday evening asking for our first and second choice for interviews but never got my email confirmation for my interview time. Really freaking out and so upset cause I thought I had an interview ?

Hey yall! Just joining in. I went to match day today and interviewed for CVIMU. Has anyone heard anything on when/if they were accepted?

I wish I knew. How was the interview process like? Do you know if we need to bring anything with us? My interview is tomorrow and I'm kind of freaking out.

Hey! I received an email & call for CIMU about an hour ago!

Congratulations! Did they offer you the position? The managers I interviewed with said we have to do a "shadow day" and then they will make final offers. Congrats again!!

I interviewed with PICU as well!! Haven’t heard yet either

Not sure if PICU will be similiar to CVIMU but we had three interviewees with two managers interviewing us. They asked us all the same questions and we all took turns answering. It took about one hour. Questions included: Tell me about yourself? Tell me what team work means to you? Tell me about a time you had a difficult patient and how did you handle it? Tell me about a mistake you made and how you corrected it?
