Memorial healthcare system Fall Cohort rejection

Hi, I recently participated in memorial healthcare systems hiring event for their nurse residency program in august, and I wanted to know what was everyone's experience. I thought I did really good, but unfortunately no feedback was given with my rejection call. I'm starting this thread to see if we can collective brainstorm on what we could have done better LOL. I'm going to be applying again for the next cohort, and want to be better prepared

The recruiters there kept telling to apply for med-surg, but I went straight for a speciality, and I think thats where I messed up

I really don't think anything "wrong" happened. It's such super competitive for specialties. I also heard that med surg was extremely competitive too. Best of luck during the next application cycle
