For those who have started at memorial, how has their residency program been so far?

Was BH successful for you. I'm interested in BH and would love to hear about your experience thus far with them

I too have had a hard time securing a position in a residency program. probably 100 applications at this point and 2 unsuccessful interviews. Graduated in May but hoping and praying that the wait will be worth it once I finally get a position

I really don't think anything "wrong" happened. It's such super competitive for specialties. I also heard that med surg was extremely competitive too. Best of luck during the next application cycle

They are hiring though. I heard that it's mostly medsurg. HCA recruiters just aren't the best with reaching out

I think it's sporadic. You have to continuously check. Maybe try calling to see if they have any hiring events. I've heard that they have had hiring events recently but never saw anything posted online.

Did you also receive the call on Friday?

oh my!! almost a year!! how far do you usually get in the application process? really hoping it works out for you this time! it seems as though they change the way interviews often. I'm hearing that it's usually either with the unit manager and not a big hiring event like they stated on their website. could you clarify?

Hello! Has anyone applied to Memorial Healthcare System's Fall 2025 Nurse Residency Cohort? Applications were open from August 4-8. Please post updates of the process of applying (call from recruiter, invitation to interview, denial). If you have interviewed for this position in the past please also explain what that experience was like. It's extremely competitive in South Florida and would love to build a community throughout this difficult application process.
