Well if you want the trifecta 1. academic 2.magnet 3. level 1 hosp then look to Inova or Medstar Washington. George Washington University Hospital is reputable as well. If your'e willing to go a little further out Johns Hopkins is an excellent hospital and is still rated #1 in the nation for many things.

Medstar Washington pays more than Gtown (she said $4 more, shes currently on a medsurg unit)
Inova is hard to tap into, no idea why
and Virginia Hospital Center is a great Cardiovascular hospital also reputable (worth looking into)
