I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have applied to the MUSC ABSN program for Fall 2025. I'm so excited about the possibility of starting this journey and would love to hear from others in the same boat!
Did anyone here apply through the priority admissions process? If so, have you heard back yet? I didn't meet the priority deadline but submitted my application for regular admissions in November. With the application deadline closing on January 31st, I'm getting more and more excited (and a little nervous!) to hear updates.
If you've already been accepted, congratulations! I'd love to hear about your experience with the process and any tips you might have for those of us still waiting.

I just got in for Spring start 2026! how is it so far? also, do I register for classes through the student portal? It doesn't say anything about it in any email so far.

Congrats!! So far it's challenging, but doable! The academic advisor registered us for the first semester. I'm not sure if they're still doing that. You might want to reach out to doublecheck.

So far we are in the midst of the middle of the semester. It's a lot of work but doable! They will send out information in regards of classes and how to set everything up. There's orientation that will go over everything 🙂

Awesome! We just got he orientation email today, but it's in the middle of a Thursday when I have lab...
Thanks! I see there's a short paragraph about registration in one of the documents that says we are responsible for it so I'll go ahead and do it.
I also have a part-time job, as well as a research position at MUSC... will I still have time for those? It's OK if not I guess I'm just anxious about the workload LOL

I work part time at MUSC as well! Me personally, I do have the time to work and maintain school. Everyone's situation is different, so if you want to maintain the job and research during school that's completely up to you. If you can find an equal balance between, awesome! I will say the course load can vary each week with exams, homework, or clinicals. I will just be mindful to finding time for yourself because burnout is completely real. I established boundaries to ensure I'm not burnt out, like I prioritize sleep over studying till midnight LOL. Everyone's situation is different and just have to find a balance. Hope this helps!
